Middle School (6-8)

In Middle School, ALIS focuses on skill progression, particularly in reading fluency and comprehension, grammar skills, and math skills.  An initial inventory is performed at the beginning of the year and students are tracked throughout the school year.  Just as in the elementary program, our educators and curriculum are key in bringing our students to a high level of academic excellence.  We have updated our curriculum to further stimulate our students and help them improve.

Our Khmer (Cambodian language) program has been approved by the Cambodian government and the school provides Chinese language instruction, continuing our legacy as the first trilingual school in Cambodia.

In Middle School, students have the opportunity to be involved in student government, speech, and debate club. We are developing an Honor Society to promote desire for academic and behavioral excellence.
